    "description": "<h2>About the Role</h2>\n<p>Serve as Biological Technician SME for Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) Center for Infectious Disease Research (CIDR).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What You’ll Do in Your New Role</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist PI with the safe and effective scientific and administration of the laboratory and supporting staff.</li>\n <li>Knowledgeable on and experienced in mammalian cell culture; in performing molecular methods (cloning, expression, qPCR, etc); as well as in producing and purifying mRNA and recombinant protein products.</li>\n <li>Trained in small rodent handling techniques to include blood collection, immunization and dissection.</li>\n <li>Experienced in good laboratory practices and performing immunological assays to assess immune responses (such as ELISA, IFA, ELISpot,etc.) to support DHA relevant projects.</li>\n <li>Track and maintain status of supply/reagent/sample and equipment inventories.</li>\n <li>Experience with writing and revising SOPs, risk assessments and study reports/summaries.</li>\n <li>Manage notebooks, data files, and perform data analysisusing basic stats or graphic programs.</li>\n <li>Possession of strong organization and project management skills.</li>\n <li>Demonstrable ability to troubleshoot.</li>\n <li>Proven record of oral and written communication.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS in a life science discipline</li>\n <li>3+ years research laboratory experience performing immunological assessment assays or a recent Master’s degree with a research laboratory component</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Desired Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience with DoD, DHA, or WRAIR Biologics Research</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>About the Company</h2>\n<p>Culmen International is committed to enhancing international safety and security, strengthening homeland defense, advancing humanitarian missions, and optimizing government operations.
