    "description_html": "<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>&nbsp;At Floors Etc., the Field Manager plays a critical role in the successful execution of commercial flooring projects throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. This position is responsible for overseeing multiple projects from pre-installation through project closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to company quality standards.</p><p>The Field Manager partners closely with Project Managers, Sales, Estimating, subcontractors, installers, and general contractors to coordinate manpower, materials, scheduling, and installation quality while delivering an exceptional customer experience.</p><p><br></p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3>Essential Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Participate in project kickoff meetings with Sales, Estimating, and Project Management teams to review project scope, schedules, materials, and installation requirements.&nbsp;</li><li>Review project plans, specifications, and installation details to proactively identify and escalate potential issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate project schedules, material deliveries, and manpower requirements with project teams and subcontractors.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate with Foremen and installers to determine specialty tools, equipment, or products needed prior to installation.&nbsp;</li><li>Schedule and manage subcontractor labor on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.&nbsp;</li><li>Oversee all phases of the installation process, including punch list completion and project closeout.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform site inspections to ensure jobsite conditions meet manufacturer and project specifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide technical guidance to installers by interpreting blueprints, reviewing installation requirements, and recommending best practices.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor installation quality, including proper use of adhesives, sealers, layout execution, and overall workmanship.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct regular jobsite visits and maintain communication with general contractors, site superintendents, and onsite Foremen.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate with Project Managers regarding job progress, schedule updates, and field conditions using ProCore and other project management tools.&nbsp;</li><li>Initiate and document field change orders and obtain required approvals/signatures.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate expedited deliveries or additional material needs with Project Management teams.&nbsp;</li><li>Verify installed quantities and provide accurate reporting to Project Managers.&nbsp;</li><li>Ensure all post-installation requirements are completed, including punch lists, cleanup, transitions, and final quality walkthroughs.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain strong communication with customers and site contacts to ensure satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.&nbsp;</li><li>Proactively forecast labor, material, and production needs to support upcoming projects and schedules.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p><h3>Competencies</h3><ul><li>Leadership and team coordination&nbsp;</li><li>Effective communication and relationship management&nbsp;</li><li>Attention to detail and quality control&nbsp;</li><li>Strong planning and organizational abilities&nbsp;</li><li>Proactive problem-solving and decision-making&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Work Environment &amp; Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>Frequent travel to jobsites throughout Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC.&nbsp;</li><li>Standard schedule is Monday through Friday; weekend work may be required based on project demands.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to operate computers, tablets, and other office equipment.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to occasionally lift and move materials or product boxes up to 50 pounds.&nbsp;</li></ul><h3>Travel</h3><ul><li>Travel throughout the region is required for this position.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><br></p>",
