PRIME plays a key role in delivering specialized solutions while aligning with the broader mission and values of S&amp;S Activewear.</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">ABOUT THE ROLE &nbsp;</span></strong></p><p>S&amp;S Activewear is seeking a Shipping Department Supervisor to provide support to the Shipping Department Manager and Operations Manager. They will also Provide direct interaction with all team members involved in shipping orders, provide assistance and guidance to employees on issues related to the shipping department. Managing the end of the day cleaning duties. Shipping Supervisor is responsible for coaching employees. Good coaching involves working with employees to establish suitable goals, action plans and time lines. The supervisor delegates and also provides ongoing guidance and support to the employee as they complete their action plans. Responsible to ensure that employees follow the organization&#39;s policies and procedures. Shipping Supervisor and all S&amp;S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&amp;S Activewear Employee Handbook.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">COMPENSATION &amp; SCHEDULE</span></strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">&nbsp;</span></p><p>Salaried (based on experience)&nbsp;</p><p>Monday - Friday (first shift) Full-Time, Exempt&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">WHAT YOU WILL DO&nbsp;</span></strong></p><ul><li>Prepare daily attendance and performance employees&rsquo; report.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct team kick off meetings&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor orders screen daily.&nbsp;</li><li>Monitoring employees breaks.&nbsp;</li><li>Responsible for accident investigation reports.&nbsp;</li><li>Trouble Shoot and resolve issues related to the shipping process.&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to think on feet and make operational decisions in order to achieve shipping cut-offs.&nbsp;</li><li>Perform annual performance evaluations.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide leadership to all department employees.&nbsp;</li><li>Conduct employee kick off meetings.&nbsp;</li><li>Verify and enforce compliance of the SOP&rsquo;s&nbsp;</li><li>Provide involvement in the planning and execution of special projects related to the Shipping process&nbsp;</li><li>Prepare and host kick off meetings&nbsp;</li><li>Monitor work flow and adjust practices as required to ensure quality and timely shipment of orders.&nbsp;</li><li>Act professionally and remain focused while working&nbsp;</li><li>Safely operate all warehouse equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Safely operate all warehouse equipment&nbsp;</li><li>Attend meetings as assigned&nbsp;</li><li>Additional responsibilities as assigned by management&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR&nbsp;</span></strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent&nbsp;</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred&nbsp;</li><li>Supervisor experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace, preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to communicate and explain processes effectively&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals&nbsp;</li><li>Excellent organizational management skills&nbsp;</li><li>Detail oriented&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment&nbsp;</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when needed&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p>Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest). PPE is company-provided with a $100 stipend on safety-toe shoes after 90 days of employment.&nbsp;</p><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18px;\">PHYSICAL DEMANDS&nbsp;</span></strong></p><p>In performing the job of a Shipping Supervisor, the job will be divided between office time and floor presence which may include standing and walking for 4+ hours per day. Additionally, the position will require the operations of a stock chaser to move throughout the warehouse.
