This role is responsible for conducting audits across all functional areas of the credit union to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, operational processes, and risk‑management practices. The Internal Auditor applies a systematic and disciplined approach to assess and monitor the credit union&rsquo;s systems of internal control, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and adherence to policies and procedures. The position verifies the reliability and integrity of financial and operational information, tests compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and identifies opportunities to strengthen processes.
