We currently employ staff of over 160, most based in the UK and Denmark but also in offices in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan and Poland. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We are in search of an ambitious Graduate Structural Engineer to join our <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Secondary Structures</span> department from September 2026. The primary work location will be in one of our UK offices<span style=\"font-weight: bold\">,</span> either in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Edinburgh or London</span>. You may expect some travelling in Northern Europe in relation to your work. Opportunities for short- or long-term assignments abroad may also be available.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">The Team</span></p>\n<p>You will join the Secondary Structures department. Secondary Structures are defined as safe and O&amp;M friendly structures to access and work on the offshore wind turbine. We engage early with the client and subcontractors to arrive at the safest possible design in line with the latest HSE regulations. In addition, secondary structures have a minimal impact on the primary structure and are optimised for fabrication.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>You will work on challenging and large-scale offshore wind projects where you will provide high-quality deliverables to our clients for the design of wind turbine foundations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Role &amp; Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<p>As a Graduate Engineer, your main task will be to provide high-quality deliverables to our clients in the offshore wind industry relating to structural design of foundations. In your role you will:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and deliver the design of secondary steel structures for fixed and floating offshore wind turbine foundations,</li>\n<li>Contribute towards and develop your competence in structural steel design,</li>\n<li>Collaborate and contribute as a key part of the structural design team to deliver world-class renewable energy projects,</li>\n<li>Use your programming skills and/or finite element capabilities to enhance current designs or build new models providing a state-of-the-art designed product to the client,</li>\n<li>Use your knowledge to prepare detailed engineering reports and technical notes documenting engineering analyses and recommendations and contribute to the development of the overall project programme, budget and risk registers,</li>\n<li>Take part in, or be responsible for, the development of in-house engineering software applied for structural design.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Experience &amp; Qualifications</span> </p>\n<p>You should hold a master's degree or higher in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering. You should thrive in an international environment and speak and write English fluently. You have a strong drive and take initiative and responsibility for your assignments, and you get motivated by creating excellent results through teamwork.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interest in design of steel structures for offshore structures.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of offshore design codes such as DNV-ST-0126, Norsok N-004, ISO 19902 and Eurocode 3.</li>\n<li>Have experience with application of 2D and 3D FE for structural analysis</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>We offer excellent opportunities to influence your daily work, develop new competencies and work on interesting projects.
