Through collaboration, innovation, and education, we inspire hope and empower positive change in those we serve.</p><p>We are committed to being responsible stewards of our resources, ensuring efficient and cost-effective care for all.</p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p>The Clinical Supervisor at River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC) is responsible for overseeing the clinical evaluation and treatment of clients across all age groups, while also providing direct care as needed. This role includes supervising and training both exempt and non-exempt staff, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring high-quality documentation, and supporting program development and quality improvement initiatives. The Clinical Supervisor fosters collaborative relationships, promotes a positive work environment, and ensures that services are culturally competent and aligned with RVCC&rsquo;s mission and goals.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>To support all aspects of RVCC&rsquo;s Mission statement &amp; clientele</li><li>To oversee clinical evaluations of clients of all ages and families</li><li>To provide direct care to clients and families&nbsp;</li><li>To summarize findings and treatment plan in accordance with RVCC procedures for treatment/services and present the same to a multidisciplinary case disposition team.</li><li>To participate in multidisciplinary team meetings(UR)</li><li>To oversee any necessary outreach, advocacy, or case consultation appropriate to meet the needs of the clients and their families</li><li>To prepare for and participate and/or conduct regular supervision.</li><li>To monitor performance of staff to ensure adherence to RVCC and clinical policies and procedures and take appropriate action as necessary.</li><li>To mediate staff complaints and grievances and refer to the Human Resources department, as appropriate.</li><li>To participate actively in research, quality assurance or program development and monitoring.</li><li>To ensure that accurate and prompt documentation in client&rsquo;s records occurs, and that client referral forms for other agencies and facilities are completed on a timely basis.</li><li>To provide crisis care, as necessary.</li><li>To attend and conduct staff meetings on a regular basis.</li><li>To ensure that staff evaluations are completed in a timely manner.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p><strong>Required:</strong></p><ul><li data-start=\"146\" data-end=\"271\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong data-start=\"148\" data-end=\"162\">Education:</strong> Master&rsquo;s degree in a related field (e.g., human services, counseling, clinical psychology, or social work)</li><li data-start=\"273\" data-end=\"493\"><strong data-start=\"275\" data-end=\"290\">Experience:</strong><ul data-start=\"295\" data-end=\"493\"><li data-start=\"295\" data-end=\"348\">At least three years of experience as a therapist</li><li data-start=\"351\" data-end=\"400\">Minimum of one year in a supervisory capacity</li><li data-start=\"403\" data-end=\"493\">Strong background in family interventions, including substance use/chemical dependency</li></ul></li><li data-start=\"495\" data-end=\"575\"><strong data-start=\"497\" data-end=\"511\">Licensure:</strong> Active Massachusetts licensure as an <strong data-start=\"549\" data-end=\"573\">LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT</strong></li></ul><h3 data-start=\"582\" data-end=\"609\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong data-start=\"586\" data-end=\"609\"><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Skills &amp; Abilities:</span></strong></h3><ul data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"1007\"><li data-start=\"610\" data-end=\"663\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li data-start=\"664\" data-end=\"721\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills</li><li data-start=\"722\" data-end=\"770\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Crisis intervention and de-escalation skills</li><li data-start=\"771\" data-end=\"827\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li data-start=\"828\" data-end=\"883\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Proficiency with computer systems and documentation</li><li data-start=\"884\" data-end=\"940\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Strong customer service and client engagement skills</li><li data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"1007\" style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Knowledge of legal and ethical standards within the profession</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><p>Bilingual (English/Spanish)</p><p><strong>What We Offer:</strong></p><ul><li>A supportive, mission-driven work environment</li><li>Opportunities for professional development and continuing education</li><li>Competitive benefits package</li><li>Collaboration with a compassionate, multidisciplinary team</li><li>The chance to make a real difference in our communities&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Summary of Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000<em><span style=\"font-size: 12px;\"> Based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications.
