    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Job Purpose</strong></p><p>Cobalt Aero Services is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to ensure all maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities meet FAA, EASA, CAA &amp; CAAC&nbsp;regulations, customer requirements, and company quality standards. This role is critical in maintaining airworthiness, supporting operational excellence, and fostering a culture of safety and compliance throughout the organization.</p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Perform receiving, preliminary, in-process, hidden damage, and final inspections on aircraft components and assemblies.</li><li>Verify the completion and accuracy of maintenance and repair documentation.</li><li>Review and sign airworthiness releases in accordance with FAA regulations.</li><li>Ensure all work is performed in compliance with approved technical data, customer specifications, FAA, EASA, CAA &amp; CAAC&nbsp;requirements, and company procedures.</li><li>Conduct routine surveillance and audits of maintenance activities to ensure adherence to quality standards.</li><li>Verify inspection requirements are completed accurately and all applicable documentation is properly maintained.</li><li>Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the Repair Station Manual and associated revisions.</li><li>Provide initial and recurrent quality and regulatory training to employees as required.</li><li>Remain current on applicable FAA regulations, including Parts 43, 65, 121, and 145; as well as EASA, CAA &amp; CAAC regulations.</li><li>Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action programs.</li><li>Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.</li><li>Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Positions Supervised:&nbsp;</strong>None</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Familiar with Internal Customer Interfaces, as defined by the process assigned.</li><li>Acquire and maintain hand tools, if necessary, to complete work assigned.</li><li>Cleans work area, when required with minimal supervision.</li><li>Have a basic understanding of computer processes involved in daily operations. Current FAA Airframe &amp; Powerplant (A&amp;P) License.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of aviation maintenance, repair, or overhaul (MRO) experience.</li><li>Minimum of 5 years of aircraft inspection experience.</li><li>Strong knowledge of FAA, EASA, CAA &amp; CAAC&nbsp;regulations&nbsp;and inspection requirements.</li><li>Ability to interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, structural repair manuals, and approved repair data.</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.</li><li>Must be able to comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing requirements.</li><li>Flexibility to work overtime and extended hours based on production demands.</li><li>Flexibility to accommodate occasional travel / off-site work.</li><li>Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials, tools, and components weighing up to<strong>&nbsp;50 pounds</strong>, with or without assistance.&nbsp;</li><li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.&nbsp;</li><li>Reaching above shoulder level and working in confined or restricted-access areas.&nbsp;</li><li>Climbing ladders, stairs, work stands, and aircraft access equipment as required.&nbsp;</li><li>Crawling, maneuvering, and positioning oneself to inspect components, assemblies, and aircraft structures.&nbsp;</li><li>Maintaining visual acuity sufficient to perform detailed inspections and identify defects or nonconformities.</li><li>Familiarity with Quantum Software preferred.</li></ul></div>\n",
