The Manager operates the program and manages the staff, ensuring conformance with regulatory agency and governmental requirements.&nbsp;</span>&nbsp;</p><p style=\"text-align:justify;\"><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\"><strong>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</strong></span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Manage staff including recruitment, hiring, development/training, scheduling and evaluation.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Supervise and monitor daily program activities, including encouraging and coaching staff to resolve and programmatic problems and using positive discipline techniques to ensure a safe, healthy, and happy environment.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Ensure the program is creating and utilizing developmentally appropriate curriculums and submit timely, accurate and complete forms and reports.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Review and evaluate new and current programs to determine their efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with state, federal and credentialing agencies and recommend any necessary modifications.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Ensure the site is compliant with the Office of Early Childhood (OEC) and NAEYC standards and regulations.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Partner with families and staff members to ensure that the needs of individual children are met.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Complete and maintain site reports/records according to OEC, School Readiness, Care4Kids, CACFP, and NAEYC guidelines.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Attend and actively facilitate supervision and multi-component staff meetings.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Collaborate with other providers to assist in high quality early care systems throughout the community.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Recruit and enroll eligible families, conduct family engagement activities.</span><br><br><span style=\"color: rgb(0,0,0);font-size: 11pt;font-family: Arial;\">Displays and upholds Easterseals core values of collaboration, respect, caring, excellence and accountability. Knowledge of Early Childhood Education, School Readiness and Connecticut Early Learning and Development standards.
