Finally, the Custodian must be skilled in specific tasks, as defined herein.&nbsp;&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nPrimary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of Position:&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\nIn addition to the responsibilities below, performs all other duties as assigned.&nbsp;&nbsp;\\r\\n\\r\\n\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tParticipates in in-service training and on-site workshops as required for professional growth and development.&nbsp; Attends external training and workshops at the direction of management.&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tRepresents the organization both within and outside of the work environment in a manner that promotes the mission, vision, and values of the agency.&nbsp; Personally, adheres to organizational mission, vision, and values, in addition to all other agency policies and procedures.&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tMaintains and repairs buildings&rsquo; interiors, exteriors, and grounds, as instructed, to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.&nbsp; Ensures hazard prevention and compliance with applicable regulations and codes.&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tConduct daily facilities check of both interior and exterior. Reports need and concern to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders.&nbsp;&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tWorks off of an automated work order system, from which tasks are assigned by the supervisor&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tClean facility daily. Sanitizes all restrooms, classrooms, common areas, and offices throughout the workday. This includes, but it is not limited to wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows and windowsills, sweeping/mopping/vacuuming floors, scrubbing toilets, sinks, and all tiles, cleaning vents, etc.&nbsp;&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tDeep Cleaning tasks, as required. These tasks include stripping/waxing of floors, shampooing carpets, deep cleaning refrigerators, etc. These tasks will be assigned on a weekly, monthly, semi-annual, annual, or seasonal basis, as appropriate.&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tLight maintenance duties, repairs, and improvements, as assigned. This includes but is not limited to light carpentry, painting, unclogging drains, stopping minor leaks, electrical (installing ballasts, and light fixtures), install/repairing locks.&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tEmpties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper disposal.&nbsp;\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\t\\r\\n\\tMay provide vendors with access to areas for cleaning and may answer basic questions.
