Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) deliver <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">person-centered care, ADL support, and community engagement</span> to help individuals build independence and live meaningful lives.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Overview</span></span></p>\n<p>We are hiring an entry-level <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver</span> to support a teen in the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salem, OR area</span> during weekday afternoons.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">This role is ideal for candidates with experience in:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Behavioral support / emotional regulation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mental health or trauma-informed care</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Childcare / youth mentorship</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Caregiving, DSP, or CNA roles</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Monday – Friday: 2:00 PM – 4:00/5:00 PM</span><br><em>(Consistent weekday afternoon schedule)</em></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">About the Individual</span></span></p>\n<p>You will be supporting an adolescent who: </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enjoys <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">board games, crafts, jewelry, fashion, slime, and music</span></li>\n<li>Loves spending time with her <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">service dog (Amber)</span></li>\n<li>Has a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">fun, silly personality</span> and values being treated like a typical teen</li>\n<li>Benefits from <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">structure, routine, and clear expectations</span></li>\n<li>Needs <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">time to process tasks, changes, and transitions</span></li>\n<li>Can experience <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">strong emotions</span>, including withdrawal or frustration</li>\n<li>May take things personally and benefits from <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">gentle perspective support</span></li>\n<li>Prefers a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">companion-style relationship (not authoritative/parenting approach)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What You’ll Do</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">1:1 support and companionship</span></li>\n<li>Assist with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ADLs and daily routines</span> as needed</li>\n<li>Support <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">community outings</span> (Ulta, Michaels, Hobby Lobby, etc.)</li>\n<li>Engage in <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">creative activities</span> (crafts, jewelry, crochet, games, music)</li>\n<li>Help with <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">task sequencing and step-by-step processing</span></li>\n<li>Support <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">emotional regulation and problem-solving</span></li>\n<li>Use <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">timers and structured routines</span> for transitions</li>\n<li>Encourage <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">independence and participation in daily tasks</span> (when appropriate)</li>\n<li>Maintain <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">clear, consistent communication and expectations</span></li>\n<li>Complete <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">documentation and communication with care team</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Compensation &amp;
