Monitor outcomes such as weight, labs, wound healing, and clinical progress.  </li>\n <li>Educate & Empower: Offer nutrition education to patients, families, staff, and the community. Develop patient-centered materials and resources that support understanding and long-term health.  </li>\n <li>Collaborate with Care Teams: Participate in rounds, patient care conferences, and interdisciplinary meetings. Communicate with providers to ensure safe, cost-effective, and high-quality nutrition therapy.  </li>\n <li>Lead & Mentor: Guide dietetic technicians, interns, and students in delivering nutrition care. Contribute to hospital projects, quality improvement initiatives, and policy development.  </li>\n <li>Drive Quality & Safety: Implement clinical projects, maintain the enteral formulary, and help advance patient safety goals in nutrition services.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Education:</strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s degree in dietetics or degree that meets the requirements of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required. </li>\n <li>Individuals credentialed as Registered Dietitians prior to January 1, 2024, are eligible with a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics or degree that meets the requirements of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required. </li>\n <li>Successful completion of an internship coordinated undergraduate program, or post graduate program accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Experience:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>One year of experience as an acute clinical dietitian for entry level practice or 3+ years’ experience as an acute dietitian for advanced level practice is preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>License(s)/Certification(s):</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lic Dietitian - Must hold a current license or certification specific to the state of employment \n  <ul>\n   <li>IADHHS – Iowa Department of Health and Human Services </li>\n   <li>IDFPR – Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation </li>\n   <li>Wisconsin </li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Reg Dietitian required \n  <ul>\n   <li>CDR – Commission on Dietetic Registration </li>\n  </ul></li>\n</ul>",
