This position is located at ATC’s (Main)%0ACampus, which is just South of Downtown%0AAtlanta. Duties are: Plan and implement the Creative Curriculum in accordance with the policies and philosophy of the Department of Early Care and Learning. Observe and record the developmental progress of children in all domains using the Teaching Strategies Gold Child Assessment and utilizing the Individual Family Service Pan P repare daily learning activities and materials for infant and toddlers for small and large group experiences Encourage the children in experimentation, exploration, problem solving, cooperation, socialization, and choice making. P rovide written and verbal communication to parents on a daily basis. Plan and conduct home and/or personal visits; Work with and encourage parents, and the community to volunteer. Collaborate with the Hub Specialists in meeting the needs of all children, including those with special needs. Meet the health and safety guidelines based on the Infant/Toddler Environmental Rating Scale. Plan for the nutritional needs of the children including support for the mothers who are nursing. Attend meetings, trainings, and appropriate professional development activities as assigned; assist in planning and conducting parent conferences. Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS %0A A high school diploma or GED or (1) year%27s qualifying child care experience. Experience as a teacher at a childcare facility that used creative curriculum. CPR/First Aid. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate%27s Degree in Early Childhood Education must be from regional accredited private or public postsecondary institution.
