With us, anticipate engaging and challenging projects that deliver innovative solutions and value-added technologies helping power more than 38 million North American homes.</p>\n<h2>What You’ll Do Day-To-Day</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure that project procurement requirements are understood and that procured products and services meet lead-time, price and quality requirements.</li>\n <li>Review and approve purchases up to a specified dollar amount.</li>\n <li>Develop and enhance mutually beneficial supply chain relationships to ensure timely and competitive quotes.</li>\n <li>Engage and coordinate with line managers to implement appropriate commodity/supply strategies.</li>\n <li>Participate as member of Cross Functional Teams (CFT) in supplier relationship activities such as selection, rationalization, development, performance measurement and recognition.</li>\n <li>Perform spend and commodity analysis; assist with development of contract negotiation strategies.</li>\n <li>Input and maintain relevant data in Purchasing information systems.</li>\n <li>Gather and report metrics to assess effectiveness of procurement operations.</li>\n <li>Continue to develop business acumen, influencing skills and customer service with colleagues and customers.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline.</li>\n <li>Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.</li>\n <li>CPM certification is preferred.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of procurement processes and roles.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of inventory control, lead times, and demand planning.</li>\n <li>Ability to generate and manage purchase orders, vendor records, and reports.</li>\n <li>Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction and convey detailed data.</li>\n <li>Ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relationships; work collaboratively within a team environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Skills: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of supply chain management field, practices, and methods.                      </li>\n <li>Preferred 3+ years of experience with procurement of products and services or supplier related interfaces.                            </li>\n <li>Required 2+ years of commodity management experience.                            </li>\n <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills and experience handling procurement plan development, negotiations, and contract management.                            </li>\n <li>Preferred 1+ years of experience with SAP enterprise system.    </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Total Rewards Package</h2>\n<p><strong>Total Rewards Package          </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>Salary:</strong> $66,000-$86,000 and may also include annual incentives and performance bonuses. The base salary range is a guideline.
