Tomorrow, we will power checkout-free experiences anywhere you go to make the everyday experiences of living, working, and playing remarkable - giving us back our most valuable asset, time.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>This position is responsible for thorough inspections and quality repairs and maintenance to ensure that only safe and reliable vehicles are deployed in revenue service at the project. </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintain all vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and passenger comfort in accordance with contractual requirements and SP+ Fleet Services standards.</li>\n <li>Perform quality maintenance inspections and repairs on all assigned vehicles and equipment.</li>\n <li>Perform all maintenance duties in a safe and efficient cost-effective manner.</li>\n <li>Maintain technical competency on assigned equipment and vehicles and actively engage in ongoing training and development programs offered by the company.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Education/Experience:</strong> High School Degree or equivalent required. Graduation from approved program at technical school a plus. Prior experience as a Mechanic or Vehicle Maintenance Technician and/or prior experience with heavy fleet vehicles preferred.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Certifications:  </strong>Possess or willing to obtain all applicable ASE certifications.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>License Requirement:</strong> Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>DOT Medical Card:</strong>  A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Hand Tools:</strong>  Must have all necessary hand tools to perform maintenance duties.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Availability to Work:</strong>  Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Minimum Age Requirement</strong>:  Must be 21 years of age or older</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Language Skills:</strong>  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Mathematical Skills:</strong>  Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Appearance:</strong>  Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:  </strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
