This role is ideal for someone who brings strong technical experience, leads with confidence, and takes pride in delivering high-quality data through teamwork and attention to detail.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct and lead field crew members through daily survey assignments, ensuring safe, efficient, and well‑coordinated field operations in alignment with safety protocols and quality assurance standards</li>\n <li>Perform record research, construction stakeout, boundary, topographic, transportation, and utility surveys utilizing total stations, data collectors, and GPS</li>\n <li>Review legal documents, plans, and project materials to accurately plan and execute water projects </li>\n <li>Create and verify field sketches and field computations related to traversing, map interpretation, and layout </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma required; Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 3 years of related experience required</li>\n <li>Strong knowledge of surveying practices, field procedures, and industry standards</li>\n <li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred; knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred</li>\n <li>Strong communication, time management, and team coordination skills with the ability to represent the firm professionally with clients and the broader public</li>\n <li>Ability to lift and carry equipment over uneven terrain and work outdoors in all weather conditions</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel short-term required</li>\n <li>NSPS‑CST Level II certification preferred; LSIT preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead field efforts that support critical infrastructure delivering clean water and protecting community health</li>\n <li>Work alongside engineers, surveyors, and project teams focused on sustainable, resilient water systems</li>\n <li>Contribute to projects that improve aging infrastructure and help communities meet growing demand and environmental challenges</li>\n <li>Grow your career in a collaborative environment with opportunities to expand your technical and leadership skills</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious how CHA’s Water/Wastewater team is shaping mobility and infrastructure?
