    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Summary</strong></p><p>Under direction of the Supervisor, the General Labor employee is responsible for identifying, assembling, packing, sorting, painting, grinding and separating parts by hand in accordance with company policies and procedures.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong></p><p><em>This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.</em></p><ul><li>Load and unload parts to and from the paint line</li><li>Check parts off the paint line, making sure all finished pieces are prepped for shipping</li><li>Examine work and perform quality checks daily</li><li>Pack material ensuring all quality standards are met for all parts</li><li>Drive forklift (if certified) to move parts around the plant</li><li>Work assembly line if required</li><li>Check work area for hazards</li><li>Complete any required paperwork (both in paper and electronically)</li><li>Leave work area in a clean/safe state when shift is complete</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p><em>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</em></p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Education and/or Experience</strong></p><ul><li>High school degree preferred</li><li>Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred</li><li>Operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment is a plus</li><li>Understanding the use of ruler and measuring tape</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Language Skills</strong></p><p>Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.&nbsp;Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, production schedules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.&nbsp;Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization. Bilingual English/Spanish helpful, but not required.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Mathematical Skills</strong></p><p>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, common fractions and decimals. &nbsp;</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Reasoning Ability</strong></p><p>Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instruction provided in written, oral, or diagram form. &nbsp;Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</p><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p><em>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
