Join us in making a real difference in the health of our community.</em></p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:</strong> The Physician Assistant will support the doctors’ work and actively facilitate patients’ recovery. You will apply medical techniques and principles under the direction of a physician and you will deal with a diverse set of patients offering them care and encouragement.</p>\n<p><em><strong>J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 Waiver Candidates Welcome!!!</strong></em></p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Take medical histories</li>\n <li>Perform physical exams, including skin cancer screening exams</li>\n <li>Diagnose and treat skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, and rosacea</li>\n <li>Order and interpret tests</li>\n <li>Perform biopsies, wide excisions, and cryotherapy</li>\n <li>Develop treatment plans</li>\n <li>Prescribe medication</li>\n <li>Provide information about preventive care</li>\n <li>Perform certain minimally and non-invasive cosmetic procedures, such as Botox injections, laser skin resurfacing, and mild or moderate chemical peels</li>\n <li>Assist in surgeries, such as Mohs surgery</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Master’s Degree required</li>\n <li>Active New York license as a Physician Assistant and at least 6 months of working experience as a PA in Dermatology </li>\n <li>Currently New York Controlled Substance and Drug Enforcement Registration</li>\n <li>Master's degree</li>\n <li>Graduate of an approved PA Program and a post-graduate training program in surgery or at least one-year equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>Current Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)</li>\n <li>Emergency Medicine / Family Practice/Acute Care</li>\n <li>DOT, BLS, ACLS Preferred</li>\n <li><strong>Bilingual a plus - Spanish</strong></li>\n <li>Proven work experience as a physician assistant or nurse</li>\n <li>Knowledge of EMR Systems preferred</li>\n <li><em><strong>J1 Waiver and CONRAD 30 Waiver Candidates Welcome</strong></em></li>\n</ul>\n<p>Salary: $120,000-$150,000</p>\n<h2>Equal Opportunity Employer</h2>\n<p><strong><em>Essen Health care is proud to be an equal opportunity employer, and we seek candidates who desire to work in and serve an ethnically diverse population.</em></strong></p>",
