Additionally, our expertise covers close tolerance and precision alignment, as well as fabrication, concrete construction, and industrial HVAC solutions.</p>\n<h2>Job Summary</h2>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Field Safety Supervisor</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Department: Safety</strong></p>\n<p><strong>Reports To: Safety Manager</strong></p>\n<p><strong>FLSA:  Exempt</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> <strong>Summary:</strong>  The Field Safety Supervisor monitors safety and health regulations and provides technical support to plant and personnel to ensure compliance with federal and state safety and health regulations.</p>\n<p> <strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Works closely with staff in project management, human resources, legal, operations, and research and development.</li>\n<li>Provides technical safety and health support and information to field personnel and corporate personnel.</li>\n<li>Enforces safety and health programs and policies.</li>\n<li>Identifies company safety training needs and develops and coordinates safety training programs.</li>\n<li>Participate in new product/process reviews, including process hazard analyses, operator training, etc.</li>\n<li>Supports corporate/Project Management to implement engineering controls to minimize safety and occupational health hazards.</li>\n<li>Supports field personnel in selection of appropriate personal protective equipment.</li>\n<li>Maintains corporate safety library (e.g., videos, regulations, reference manuals).</li>\n<li>Promotes safety and health awareness through internal company memoranda, newsletters, and specific training programs.</li>\n<li>Participates in company occupational safety and health issues.</li>\n<li>Assist as necessary in implementation of a hazard communication program and preparation of reports.</li>\n<li>Reviews process-operating procedures/records and provides input for safety and health considerations.</li>\n<li>Understands federal and state occupational safety and health regulations and monitors regulatory changes as they occur.</li>\n<li>Provides technical support to corporate and field personnel to ensure compliance with applicable occupational safety and health regulations.</li>\n<li>Audits practices and records of manufacturing plants to ensure compliance with company programs and federal/state occupational safety and health regulations.</li>\n<li>Monitors lost-time injuries/illnesses and worker’s compensation claims.</li>\n<li>Reviews of plant safety committee meeting minutes and safety inspection reports and follows up, as necessary.</li>\n<li>Reviews injury/illness and non-injury incident investigation reports and follows up, as necessary.</li>\n<li>Develop/coordinate SWPs, JSA, and other safety planning documents</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p>\n<p><strong>This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, though management of the safety program includes directing safety related activities. Also serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:</strong></p>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in safety science, engineering or equivalent or</li>\n<p>At least five years of previous experience in safety coordinator position or higher.</p>\n<p> <strong>Reasoning Ability: </strong>                                                             </p>\n<p>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
