    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p><strong>Position Purpose:</strong>&nbsp;Our Scan Team Member will be responsible for executing a wide variety of tasks throughout the store. Along with their cashier/clerk duties the Scan Team Member ensures accurate product pricing as well as the proper use of UPC shelf tags, shelf signs and display signs</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>A Scan Team Member is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.</p>\n<p><i>A&nbsp;Scan Team Member’s responsibilities include:</i></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Updating product pricing throughout the general department of the store.</li>\n <li>Pulling and using transmitted files of new items, discontinued items and new pricing.</li>\n <li>Ensuring all new shelf tags and signage are hung properly in a timely manner.</li>\n <li>Facilitating price checks, including sending pertinent messages to the pricing integrity department.</li>\n <li>Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members.</li>\n <li>Engaging with customers through smiles and greetings, offering product information, providing selling suggestions and always giving a genuine thank you.</li>\n <li>Focusing on providing fast and friendly customer service.</li>\n <li>Processing cash register transactions, inputting product costs, giving back change, processing checks, EBTs, WIC checks, refunds, product coupons and gift certificates.</li>\n <li>Understanding the importance of and monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement and the use of product shelf tags and accompanying UPC codes.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Keeps clean, neat, and orderly check stand and work areas.</li>\n <li>Stocking store products, rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety.</li>\n <li>All other related duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period:</strong></p>\n<p>Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Perks &amp; Benefits</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation, paid weekly</li>\n <li>Retirement Benefits</li>\n <li>Medical, dental, and vision insurance for yourself and eligible dependents</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement for qualified courses</li>\n <li>Scholarship opportunities for continued education</li>\n <li>Store discount programs (10% off household groceries)</li>\n <li>Fun work environment where you have the opportunity to nourish your community.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Must be 18 years of age.
