At Quality Equipment, there are opportunities to grow and advance in your career.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are currently looking for a <strong>Parts Counter Sales</strong> to join us in our <strong>Sunbury</strong> store.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Promotes and sells products and/or services to meet customer needs</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Supplies Service Technicians with parts, as required (assists Service Writer, if applicable)</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Assists with preparing and maintaining showroom merchandise displays</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Verifies receipting in of parts shipments and assists with placing Machine Down and Stock Orders&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Assists in pulling and shipping parts and product transfers between branches</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Assists in keeping parts department, showroom and parts warehouse clean and orderly</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Reports and follows up on parts shortages by reporting issues to the Parts Manager</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Assists in maintaining all departmental tools and equipment</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Provides afterhours parts phone service, when necessary</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Other duties as required, for overall location functionality</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; High School Diploma or equivalent experience</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Basic data entry/keyboarding skills</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Basic parts and machinery knowledge</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Ability to use the John Deere Parts related computer application</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Ability to work in a team environment</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Ability to work extended hours and weekends</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Ability to operate a forklift, preferred</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Valid driver&rsquo;s license required for potential driving situations, preferred</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:&nbsp;</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Weight Requirements: Lifting up to 50 lbs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Mobility: Squatting, bending, lifting, reaching, twisting, standing, sitting&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Visual: Working with smart devices and manuals</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Driving: Occasional &ndash; Short and long distances</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">&bull; Dexterity: Ability to grasp</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Our employees receive competitive wages and can participate in the benefits which currently include medical and dental insurance, flexible spending account, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, a 401(K) program with employer match and a company discount.
