Are you motivated by seeing critical water and wastewater projects take shape through strong on-site leadership?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a <strong>Water/Wastewater Construction Manager</strong> to join our <strong>Water Team</strong> in <strong>Blacksburg, VA or Richmond, VA</strong>. In this role, you’ll serve as a key on-site leader—observing daily construction activities, collaborating with contractors and clients, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. </p>\n<h2>What You'll Do:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide day‑to‑day on‑site construction management to ensure water and wastewater projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with contract requirements</li>\n <li>Serve as a primary point of contact for contractors, clients, and project teams—facilitating clear communication, resolving field issues, and maintaining strong working relationships</li>\n <li>Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with plans, safety standards, and quality expectations</li>\n <li>Review, track, and document construction activities including work orders, pay applications, inspection reports, and daily reports with accuracy and attention to detail</li>\n <li>Review change order requests, develop estimates, negotiate costs, and support stakeholders and regulatory engagement</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Bring:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate’s Degree in Engineering Science, Construction Services, or a related technical field required or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred</li>\n <li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a similar role required</li>\n <li>Valid driver’s license required</li>\n <li>Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulatory requirements with knowledge of construction safety and quality standards</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel required</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams</li>\n <li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities</li>\n <li>Proficiency with construction management software and tools preferred</li>\n <li>PACP (pipe), MACP (manhole), and/or LACP (lateral) certifications preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Why You'll Love It Here:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Play a vital role in delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects that protect public health and strengthen communities</li>\n <li>Work alongside knowledgeable, collaborative professionals who value safety, quality, and long-term client partnerships </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Curious about the impactful work our Water team is doing?
