Regular scheduled hours will include both weekend and weekday shifts, including holidays. Additional coverage for special events may also be required. The salary for this position is $18.50 per hour.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Key Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Performs maintenance and repair duties as necessary throughout the museum.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Painting, sheetrock repair, carpentry, minor electrical, minor plumbing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to climb ladders and use personnel lifts.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lawn mowing</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Snow removal</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains and monitors appearance of floors, furnishings, and fixtures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Daily monitoring and maintenance of restrooms, including fixtures during open museum hours.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assists in the set-up and breakdown of facility rental and special events.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Maintains floor equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Education &amp; Experience:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Valid driver&rsquo;s license</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Previous custodial or maintenance experience preferred but not required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to read, understand, and follow safety procedures including the safe use of equipment, tools, and chemicals.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to operate hand/power tools and other related equipment.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong> Continuous movement involving walking, climbing, bending, stretching, reaching, standing, pushing, pulling and carrying; ability to move up to 50lbs with or without accommodations.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Typical Equipment Used:</strong> Hand tools, power tools, ladders, personnel lifts.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Other Duties:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
