The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with some hands-on project or work experience in the development of mechanical systems or products.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate and strategize with colleagues in the engineering, production/manufacturing, product management, service, and repair departments to solve problems and develop innovative world-class products.</li><li>Complete manufacturing and assembly mechanical drawings, tolerance analysis/stack-ups, and other documentation per ASME Y14.5M-2009 standards using SolidWorks CAD software.</li><li>Design and drafting of mechanical tools, fixtures, and machine components and subassemblies.</li><li>Assigned projects involve the following key areas: bill of materials structure, materials selection, strength of materials, static thermodynamic conditions and environments, metal plating and coatings, assembly and joining hardware, various manufacturing processes, and specification of required tolerances with manufacturing cost in mind.</li><li>Electromechanical system design and specification including AC and DC motors, servo motors, solenoids, and actuators.</li><li>Pneumatic and hydraulic system design and specification with cylinders, actuators, valves, regulators, hoses, and fittings.</li><li>Maintain accurate component information, revisions, and manufacturing bills of materials within Tri Tool’s ERP system (Info Syteline).</li><li>Hands-on problem solving and assembly and testing of prototypes within an R&amp;D shop environment.</li><li>Perform all duties as assigned with adherence to Tri Tool’s Core Values.</li></ul>",
