We are actively recruiting for <strong>Direct Support Professionals</strong> for our Residential Treatment Centers<strong>.</strong>&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>The mission of the <strong>Autism Treatment Center (ATC)</strong> is to assist people with autism and related disorders throughout their lives as they learn, play, work, and live in the community.&nbsp;</p><p>Our Direct Care Workers are the highest quality people, and we are looking forward to meeting you.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pay: $10.00 per hour</strong></p><p><em><strong>**Plus opportunity for UNLIMITED overtime*</strong></em></p><p><strong>Direct Support Professionals</strong> (AWAKE)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Benefits :</strong></p><ul><li>Medical</li><li>Dental</li><li>Vision</li><li>HSA</li><li>FSA</li><li>401K</li><li>Supplemental Insurance</li><li>PTO</li><li>Free meals on shift</li><li>Direct Deposit</li></ul><p><strong>Experience necessary:</strong></p><ul><li>At least 6 months of caregiving/direct patient care experience with references</li></ul><p><strong>The Job:</strong></p><ul><li>Follow all Autism Treatment Center Policies and Mental Health Procedures.</li><li>Assist in the training of personal care, communication, recreation, housekeeping, dietary needs, and assist in self-medication or administration of medications.</li><li>Support the implementation of the Consumer Service Plan through the coordination of services.</li><li>Documentation: Medication Sheets, Incident Reports, Clinical Program Logs, Purchase Orders,</li><li>Receipts, Medication Therapy Notes, Data Collection, Work Orders.</li><li>Act as liaison between parent/guardian, community, and ATC.</li><li>Stay in the living area of the home, a light must be on in the room during consumer sleeping hours.</li><li>Check/Supervise any consumer who gets out of bed.</li><li>Conduct and Document rounds each night at 10:00 P.M., 12:00 A.M., 2:00 A.M., 4:00 A.M., and</li><li>6:00 A.M at minimum. The House Manager may require more frequent rounds.</li><li>(rounds include checking the consumer to ensure that he/she is sleeping normally)</li><li>Notify the House Manager of anything unusual</li><li>Ability to handle stressful situations; exhibit patience and flexibility, and maintain a sense of humor.</li><li>Conduct special supervisions of consumers required by medical orders, behavior programs, and/or the House</li><li>Manager.</li><li>Complete special paperwork or do other assignments made by the House Manager/Residential Coordinator.</li></ul><p><strong>Weekly:</strong></p><ul><li>Documentation: Time Sheets, Certificates of Absence, Activity Schedules, and Fire Drills</li><li>Attend meetings and/or training as scheduled or required.</li><li>Assure adequate supply of medications for consumers.</li></ul><p>This position involves tasks that expose you to blood, body fluids, and/or body tissues. All of the job-related tasks may involve potential exposure to mucous membranes or skin contact with blood, bodily fluids, or tissues, or the potential for spills and splashes of these fluids.
