As a company driven on customer service and a high-quality product, we strive to offer leading edge technology and our team of technicians are driven to provide the highest quality possible.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Echo NDE is currently seeking an Operations Manager to support and lead inspection operations across our projects and client sites. This role will be a hybrid position, requiring time both in the field and in the office at our Rockview, AB location, working closely with our inspection teams and clients to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical background combining visual API inspection and NDE inspection experience, along with the ability to coordinate field activities, support crews, and contribute to the overall success of Echo’s operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the efficient and profitable delivery of technical services within a specific geographic or technicalservice area by\n  <ul>\n   <li>Hire and retain staff who possess the necessary technical and safety qualifications to perform the available work</li>\n   <li>Enhanceemployee performance quality by setting clear objectives, monitoring progress, providing timely feedback, identifying training needs, coaching and mentoring staff within the department, and participating in annual performance reviews</li>\n   <li>Appropriately scheduling manpower and ensuring consumable, equipment, fleet resources are available, maintained in good condition, and regularly audited</li>\n   <li>Ensure compliance with company specific safety and quality programs and the appropriate use of procedures and administrative controls</li>\n   <li>Prepare price estimates for complex and detailed work packages</li>\n   <li>Perform regular site visits to engage technical staff in field and ensure projects are on schedule and within scope</li>\n   <li>Approve technical training recommendations</li>\n   <li>Ensure appropriate policies and procedure are in place and support ongoing service improvements</li>\n   <li>Provide oversight to administrative functions to ensure accurate and efficient completion of</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Provide ongoing oversight and analysis of monthly financial reports, and monthly billable time reports, making necessary adjustments</li>\n <li>Review and approving operational expenses, DTR’s and expense submission</li>\n <li>Participate in in the development of operational and capital budgets</li>\n <li>Define limits of authority with staff to ensure wise decisions are made with respect to the company resources</li>\n <li>Effectively manage resources including facilities, vehicles, and equipment to ensure safe, secure, costeffective and reliable use</li>\n <li>Collaborate with other leaders to build and develop client relationships based on the provision of exceptional service and ethical business practices</li>\n <li>Engage productively with existing and new clients to expand regional service offerings  </li>\n <li>Improve value of services offered and demonstrating innovative technology to customers</li>\n <li>Utilizie site specific metrics to improve productivity and improve customer service </li>\n <li>Seek clarification of the client’s expectations, clearly defining work-scopes, monitoring project execution and verifying customer satisfaction</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>API Certifications.  Preference will be API 510/570/653 certifications.</li>\n <li>NDT Technical background and certifications</li>\n <li>Strong managerial skills with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills</li>\n <li>Proficiency in use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint</li>\n <li>Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills to manage difficult customer interactions</li>\n <li>Strong organizational and prioritization skills</li>\n <li>Consistently demonstrates their understanding of, and compliance with, responsibilities under the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulations, and Company Safety and Quality Management Systems, policies and procedures</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About Echo</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The strength of Echo NDE lies in its' outstanding people.
