Additional responsibilities may include but not be limited to; setup of repeat work, training other employees, performing specific preventive maintenance tasks, documenting process conditions and results, and quality reporting. If you’re passionate about innovation and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Routine responsibilities and duties involve the use of various procedures and the application of clearly prescribed standards and practice, requiring the use of good judgment</li>\n <li>Utilize various pieces of industrial machinery to complete optical and software setup of production level laser machining jobs to prescribed conditions</li>\n <li>Be resourceful and adaptive with the ability to find ways around obstacles or develop new approaches and/or methods</li>\n <li>Support Production Start-up Activities through Documentation Generation, Equipment Investigations, Maintenance needs and Job Safety Assessments.</li>\n <li>Take ownership of all assigned activities while insuring that quality remains a high priority</li>\n <li>Initiate process change or machine service requests</li>\n <li>Perform simple to complex part inspections</li>\n <li>Analyze and document data and procedures</li>\n <li>Operate laser systems per procedure or through instruction under a variety of conditions</li>\n <li>Train other employees to processing conditions and requirements.</li>\n <li>Provide process demonstrations to clients</li>\n <li>Provide assistance and troubleshooting for production issues.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Required Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High School diploma or Equivalent.</li>\n <li>5 years of relevant experience in the operation and setup of complex test or mechanical equipment.</li>\n <li>Ability to quickly and positively adapt to changing priorities and processes.</li>\n <li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li>\n <li>Mechanical and analytical aptitude.</li>\n <li>Ability to exercise independent judgment within primary job functions.</li>\n <li>Experience in programming G code or similar languages</li>\n <li>Ability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated</li>\n <li>Strong math skills are necessary for this position as well as ability to read blueprints.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Preferred Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Associates level technical training</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Physical Demands</h2>\n<p>Good dexterity as many jobs require the handling of many small components.</p>\n<h2>Compensation</h2>\n<p>The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications.
