Why This Leadership Role Matters: System-Wide Impact: Oversee and shape the delivery of comprehensive, integrated care across a portfolio of community-based programs, directly influencing the quality of life for thousands of individuals. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Executive Vice President and agency leadership to drive innovation, ensure compliance, and develop new revenue streams that expand our mission. Collaborative Culture: Work at the intersection of operations, finance, HR, and external partners - building the relationships that make integrated care possible. Mission-Driven Growth: Join a respected organization with a 50-year history of community impact and a commitment to serving the most vulnerable populations. What You’ll Do: Provide strategic and operational leadership for assigned community behavioral health and recovery programs, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and efficient service delivery. Supervise and develop program leaders, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and professional growth. Oversee program budgets, fiscal performance, and contract compliance, while exploring new revenue streams to supplement funding. Build and sustain collaborative relationships with state agencies, community providers, regulatory authorities, and internal departments (HR, Finance, Quality, IT). Ensure compliance with all licensing, accreditation (CARF), and state/federal regulations. Identify and mitigate agency risks, and champion a seamless system of internal collaboration across all BAMSI departments. Strongly prefer familiarity with state agencies, community programs, and building effective partnerships. Cultural Competence: Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations, including individuals experiencing homelessness, people living with mental illness or SUD, the LGBTQ+ community, and the elderly. Skills: Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities with professionalism and calm, and communicate effectively across all levels. Requirements: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
