We own and/or manage approximately 36 affordable housing buildings serving over 4,500 low-income seniors, single adults, formerly homeless adults, and families of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds in San Francisco&#8217;s Chinatown, Tenderloin, Western Addition, and Polk Gulch neighborhoods. We also build housing, develop grassroots leadership, and engage low-income residents and youth. We encourage people of color to apply.<br><br><u><strong>Essential Functions</strong></u><p>Individual Giving:&#160;</p><ul><li>Develop and implement strategies to diversify revenue and increase philanthropic support from individual donors.</li><li>Create and execute annual plans for donor acquisition, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship in collaboration with the Director of Resource Development.</li><li>Produce compelling donor-focused content for appeals, newsletters, direct mail, annual reports, and social media campaigns.</li><li>Develop and launch new fundraising initiatives with the capacity to achieve six-figure goals annually.</li><li>Analyze donor data in Chinatown CDC&#8217;s CRM and conduct prospect research and wealth screening.</li><li>Maintain accurate donor records, ensuring timely tracking, stewardship, and acknowledgment of all gifts.</li></ul><p>Special Events:&#160;</p><ul><li>Identify sponsorship opportunities and secure in-kind donations for the annual gala and other special events.</li><li>Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events&#8212;including building celebrations, donor cultivation activities, and related event platforms such as landing pages and online silent auction pages.</li><li>Manage all event logistics, timelines, and volunteer coordination to ensure smooth and successful execution.</li></ul><p>Support Comprehensive Fund Development Efforts:&#160;</p><ul><li>Develop a strong understanding of Chinatown CDC&#8217;s programs, mission, and community impact.</li><li>Provide warm, professional, and timely customer service to donors, volunteers, partners, and stakeholders.</li><li>Collaborate with the Director of Resource Development and team members on department-wide initiatives and special projects as assigned.</li></ul><u><strong>Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications)</strong></u><ul><li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree required.</li><li>Minimum of five years of fundraising or development experience in a nonprofit environment.</li></ul><b><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></b><ul><li>Strong and creative content developer with experience in social media, donor communications, and marketing materials.</li><li>Demonstrated success in implementing effective and innovative fundraising strategies.</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Collaborative team player who also works effectively independently with least supervision.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.</li><li>Proficiency with donor management databases and prospect research tools.</li><li>Technical proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Adobe InDesign, Canva, SharePoint, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Teams.</li></ul><b>EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER</b><p>Chinatown Community Development Center (CCDC) is an equal opportunity employer.
