General Counsel

SuperDial is building the next generation of AI-powered voice technology — automating and enhancing enterprise communication through real-time conversation intelligence and data-driven automation. We recently raised our Series B and are entering the next phase of scale as we continue expanding our enterprise footprint and AI platform capabilities. The Role: We are seeking a highly hands-on, business-oriented General Counsel to build and lead SuperDial’s legal function during a pivotal stage of growth. This is a foundational leadership role for someone who thrives as a true player-coach — equally comfortable operating as a strategic advisor to leadership and rolling up their sleeves to handle day-to-day legal execution. You will personally own and drive a broad range of legal matters across commercial contracting, healthcare compliance, employment, governance, fundraising support, and operational risk management, while building the systems and processes needed to scale the company responsibly. What You’ll Do (Immediate & Long-Term): First 30–60 Days: Audit current legal, compliance, and contracting processes Review enterprise customer agreements, vendor contracts, employment documentation, BAAs, and IP protections Build relationships across Product, Engineering, GTM, Finance, and Leadership Assess key legal and operational risks across healthcare, AI, privacy, and enterprise software Begin standardizing commercial agreement templates and negotiation workflows Establish outside counsel management processes and legal prioritization framework 90–120 Days: Personally draft, review, and negotiate enterprise customer agreements, vendor contracts, partnership agreements, NDAs, BAAs, and employment-related documentation Build scalable legal review, approval, and contracting processes to support rapid enterprise growth Partner closely with GTM and Sales teams to accelerate deal cycles while appropriately managing risk Support board governance, financing diligence, and strategic company initiatives Advise Product and Engineering teams on AI governance, HIPAA/privacy considerations, data usage, and compliance frameworks Implement practical policies and processes that balance speed, scalability, and risk management 6 Months: Build the legal infrastructure necessary to support continued scaling and enterprise expansion Develop playbooks and operational processes across commercial legal, employment, healthcare compliance, and corporate governance Manage outside counsel across corporate, employment, IP, regulatory, and strategic matters while maintaining efficient legal spend Support strategic partnerships, procurement, and potential M&A or expansion opportunities Improve company-wide legal operations, documentation, and internal enablement Year 1: Establish a scalable, high-performing legal function aligned with company growth Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to leadership and the board Help position the company for long-term scale, operational maturity, and future financing events Build systems that enable the company to move quickly while maintaining strong legal and ethical foundations Create a proactive legal and compliance culture that supports innovation and enterprise trust Why This Role Is Important to Our Growth: Enterprise Growth Enablement Build scalable, business-friendly legal processes that support rapid enterprise sales growth and customer expansion. Strategic Risk Management Help SuperDial navigate the evolving legal landscape across AI, healthcare, patient data privacy, enterprise security, and enterprise software. Cross-Functional Leadership Act as a key partner to leadership, GTM, Product, Engineering, and Finance teams on strategic company initiatives. Operational Scale Build the legal infrastructure, systems, and workflows necessary for the company’s next phase of growth. About You: 10+ years of legal experience, including significant experience advising high-growth technology companies Combination of top law firm training and in-house startup or growth-stage experience strongly preferred Proven experience operating as a highly hands-on legal leader in fast-paced startup environments Strong commercial contracting experience with the ability to independently negotiate complex enterprise SaaS agreements Required: meaningful experience within healthcare, healthcare technology, digital health, health systems, payors, revenue cycle management, or healthcare AI environments Strong familiarity with healthcare regulatory and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, healthcare data/privacy considerations, BAAs, and enterprise healthcare contracting Experience supporting companies through high-growth scaling phases Strong business judgment with pragmatic, solutions-oriented legal thinking Comfortable balancing strategic leadership with day-to-day executional work Excellent communicator with strong executive presence and cross-functional influence High integrity, low ego, adaptable, and thrives in fast-moving environments Bonus Points For: Experience supporting AI infrastructure, healthcare AI, or data-heavy SaaS platforms Experience with SOC 2, privacy frameworks, and emerging AI regulations Fundraising, M&A, or strategic transactions experience Experience building legal operations and processes from the ground up Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools within legal workflows Why Join Us: Build and shape the legal function at a rapidly scaling AI company Operate as a true strategic partner to leadership and the broader business High ownership, visibility, and impact across the company Fast-moving, collaborative, and execution-oriented culture Opportunity to help shape the future of AI in healthcare Meaningful influence during a critical stage of company growth Who We Are: SuperDial is transforming AI in healthcare by building scalable, AI-powered solutions that optimize revenue cycle management.
