Substitute teachers will receive daily plans for any substitute teaching experience and work collaboratively with full-time teachers in the lower, middle, or upper school. Substitute teachers should be prepared (with boots, snow pants, rain jacket, etc.) to be outside in all types of weather. As a substitute teacher, your responsibilities could include implementing a substitute lesson plan, supervising children in class and during lunch/recess, and proctoring online learning. This is an on-call position and is compensated at an hourly rate.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&bull; Bachelor&#39;s Degree Preferred&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Experience in a relevant field&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Ability to effectively communicate&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Working Conditions &amp; Physical Requirements:&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Bending, crouching, kneeling, crawling, sitting, standing, standing with movement, walking, climbing stairs and ladders&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Stretches of time outdoors in all weather, including extreme temperatures and arid conditions&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Time spent hiking in front- and back-country settings&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</p><p>100% Curriculum Instruction &amp; Support&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Execute lesson plans and guide student engagement&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Maintain a dynamic, engaging, and organized classroom environment&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Support classroom routines&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Provide absent teacher with detailed notes on class and students&nbsp;</p><p>&bull; Responsive to feedback&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>This job description is not meant to state or imply that these are the only duties performed by the employee occupying this position.
