    "jobDescription": "<h2></h2><h2>Job Description:</h2><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><h2></h2><p><b>The Role</b></p><p></p><p>The Director, Alternative Investment Project Management and Strategic Initiatives, will collaborate cross functionally to assist in the establishment of supporting infrastructure and framework for new alternative investments. </p><p></p><p><b>The successful candidate will: </b></p><p></p><ul><li>Program manage alternative product launches and other alts initiatives.  Coordinate activities across all key stakeholder groups including Product, Product Governance, Legal, Compliance, TO, Investment Operations, FFIO, Distribution and Marketing/Communications and others as needed.  As part of this, collaborate with group leads to identify key tasks, resource requirements and critical dependencies to launch new alternative products</li><li>Identify, develop, and promote repeatable and scalable processes and frameworks needed to support alternative investments</li><li>Have exposure to senior management across AM and the broader Fidelity organization; must possess executive presence and professionalism.</li><li>Successfully navigate the organization, build strong working relationships with key business stakeholders, and develop a strong professional network.</li><li>Quickly learn complex business processes associated with starting new alternative investment and products</li><li>Be skilled in synthesizing complex ideas into easy-to-understand materials, including delivery of key concepts to a cross functional audience with varying seniority levels</li><li>Need to be comfortable taking direction from multiple leaders, open to constructive feedback, and working independently and with ambiguity.</li></ul><p><b> </b></p><p><b>The Expertise and Skills you Bring</b></p><ul><li><span>7 plus years work experience in financial services organizations</span></li><li><span>Excellent project management skills, top tier consulting experience is a plus</span></li><li><span>Strong understanding of the asset management industry (working knowledge of alternative investments including hedge funds, private equity, real assets, direct lending, and structured products is a plus)</span></li><li>Ability to break down sophisticated products and structures for various levels of staff</li><li><span>Superb work ethic, attention to detail, team orientation, and commitment to excellence</span></li><li>Proven track record when working with uncertainty and successfully delivering large, complex, and strategic initiatives</li><li>Outstanding collaboration skills and ability to partner and effectively influence across a variety of senior stakeholders</li><li>MBA or other advanced degree preferred</li><li>Flexibility and the skill to both lead and contribute to teams are musts.</li><li>Applicants must have exceptional analytical, communication, conceptual thinking, problem-solving capabilities.</li></ul><p></p><p>Note: <span>Fidelity will not provide immigration sponsorship for this position.</span></p><p></p><p><b>The Team</b></p><p></p><p>The Alts Project Management &amp; Strategic Initiatives team was founded in 2023 to establish supporting infrastructure and framework for proprietary alternatives, from tactical execution to strategic design &amp; implementation, provide centralized program management for alts fund launches and other cross-functional initiatives, drive meaningful improvement of the alts operating model, and centralize alts infrastructure coordination activities and prioritization.</p><p></p><p>#FidelityAlts</p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p>The base salary range for this position is $110,000-$222,000 per year.  <p style=\"text-align:left\">Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.</p><p style=\"text-align:inherit\"></p><p style=\"text-align:left\">Base salary is only part of the total compensation package.
