    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>This job is responsible for effectively training the Retail Bank.  Areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to systems, operational processes, management/leadership, sales, onboarding/new hire process, consumer and small business lending. This individual will establish and maintain a partnership with managers to identify training needs, develop a training calendar, and ensure effective training delivery.  This individual has management responsibility for other trainers.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Cross-train, lead and develop team of associates to promote maximum efficiency, engagement, succession planning and overall contribution to strategic Retail organizational goals. </li>\n <li>Ensure effectiveness of the operational and systematic training for the Retail bank.</li>\n <li>Manage other trainers by providing coaching, mentoring, and overall development.</li>\n <li>Lead training for Retail associates by ensuring what is trained is of the highest priority responsibilities for those associates to equip them to fulfill their job expectations.</li>\n <li>Seek opportunities for improvement with training systems used as well as training approaches</li>\n <li>Conduct training as needed.</li>\n <li>Perform additional duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Banking and Finance or related field of study or equivalent work experience</li>\n <li>5 years of training front line staff for a financial institution</li>\n <li>5 years of management experience in a retail or retail administration role </li>\n <li>8 years of experience in delivering in person or virtual training </li>\n <li>Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design</li>\n <li>Experience with power-skills training</li>\n <li>Flexible and strong ability to manage change</li>\n <li>Ability to manage change and prioritize objectives</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; communicate well in individual or group situations</li>\n <li>Exhibits professionalism interacting with all levels of associates</li>\n <li>Proficient PC skills</li>\n <li>Effective training facilitation using multiple delivery methods</li>\n <li>Autonomous decision-making capability</li>\n <li>Ability to travel as needed</li>\n <li>Training Certifications from Association for Talent Development (ATD)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:  Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Note: This is a brief description of this position and is not limited to those described herein.
