View the comprehensive information about the competitive benefits package on our careers page then scroll down to <strong>CENTERS Benefits </strong>(click link to view).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Safely instruct class participants through an effective class session</li>\n <li>Provide quality customer service to all participants and potential attendees, regardless of skill level, appearance, or otherwise</li>\n <li>Ensure participant safety</li>\n <li>Communicate effectively with the supervisor through phone, email, or in person</li>\n <li>Enforce all program policies and procedures as it pertains to the class format development program</li>\n <li>Enforce all building policies and procedures and assist as needed during emergencies</li>\n <li>Attend all necessary meetings and trainings</li>\n <li>Safely instruct effective, creative group fitness practices</li>\n <li>Other duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications</li>\n <li>Leadership and supervisory abilities</li>\n <li>Entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational, and written and interpersonal communication skills</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently</li>\n <li>Knowledge of standard practices in specific group fitness class format</li>\n <li>Ability to thrive in an environment that values high expectations, accountability, and balanced lifestyles</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Technical Competencies</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficiency with group fitness knowledge and coaching techniques</li>\n <li>Proficient with developing all-level class formats</li>\n <li>Proficiency with providing necessary, clear cues within group format</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Work Environment and Physical Demands</h2>\n<p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Fitness center environment</li>\n <li>Moderate to loud noise</li>\n <li>Evening and/or weekend work potential</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Standing/demonstrating fitness moves for at least 75% of the class (depends on class format)</li>\n <li>Bending and stooping</li>\n <li>Hearing and talking</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Other Duties </strong></p>\n<p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
