    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Here at The Tri-M Group, LLC/EnerG Test, LLC we are an<span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">employee owned company</span> placing our employees first, knowing that highly trained, skilled, and compensated workforce can better serve our customers, our families and our communities.  We’ve built a reputation for delivering quality and professional commercial electrical services with safety as a top priority.  In addition, we place a strong emphasis on our employees, and it starts with hiring the best and brightest talent in the industry!</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Check out Tri-M/EnerG Test's comprehensive benefit list below the job description!</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Summary Description</span></p>\n<p>Under the direction of the EnerG Test Manager/Operations Manager this person will perform various advanced tests of electrical power equipment and perform various service tasks to the same equipment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Travel Expectations:</span> Up to 75% or more, with the ability to spend extended periods away from home.  May include extensive overnight field assignments representing employer partners in customer-facing environments.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Flexibility</span>: Must be willing to work varying hours, including weekends, and respond to short-notice travel assignments.</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Work Location:</span> Nationwide, dependent upon the customer and project</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential:</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M safety policies and procedures.</li>\n<li>Complies with and ensures compliance with all Tri-M employment policies and procedures including standards of conduct and appearance to reflect positively on the Company.</li>\n<li>Adheres to testing and service protocols, including Tri-M procedures, forms, and check sheets, as well as customer requirements, ANSI/IEEE, NETA procedures and OEM requirements.</li>\n<li>Understands and follows proper safety and temporary grounding procedures.</li>\n<li>Reads and interprets electrical distribution system drawings, including single lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, section and plans views.</li>\n<li>Operates hipot, power factor, TTR, CT, primary and secondary injection, relay test equipment and all test sets required at the Testing Tech 1 level.</li>\n<li>Performs initial interpretation of all test results, and consults with the testing foreperson and/or supervisor and/or manager for final evaluation.</li>\n<li>Performs service tasks related to electrical power equipment, including repair, replacement, refurbishment, and upgrade.</li>\n<li>Troubleshoots electrical power equipment problems and performance issues using appropriate techniques and equipment.</li>\n<li>Able to plan out a job without being told what to do and lead assigned projects.</li>\n<li>Ensures compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and National Electric Safety Code (NESC) High voltage Electrical safety.</li>\n<li>Ensures that quality and productivity meet Company and customer standards.</li>\n<li>Travels regionally or nationally to job sites as needed.</li>\n<li>Serves as part of an on-call system and emergency response crew.</li>\n<li>Safeguards and maintains Tri‑M equipment and tools.</li>\n<li>Completes all testing and service forms and check sheets including preparing reports for review by supervisor.</li>\n<li>Capable of operating independently.</li>\n<li>Understands electrical distribution system drawings, including single lines, schematics, wiring diagrams, section and plan views.</li>\n<li>Assists Substation Technicians as directed by Operations Manager when required.</li>\n<li>Assist line crew as needed.</li>\n<li>Keeps current with new techniques and developments in the service and testing of electrical power equipment.</li>\n<li>Recommends improved methods of operation.</li>\n<li>Requisitions materials and supplies; schedules heavy vehicles when necessary.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Job Requirements</span></span><br><span style=\"color: rgb(72, 65, 63); font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt\">Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.</span></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Skills/Education:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or equivalent or post-secondary technical training.</li>\n<li>NETA Level 2 certified or capable of certification proven by years of experience. Obtain NETA Level 3 certification within 3-5 years.</li>\n<li>Completion of an approved electrical apprenticeship and hold a current journeyperson license.</li>\n<li>Completion of basic training in fall protection, confined space, LO/TO classes.</li>\n<li>Minimum of four (4) years of experience in the construction field and/or installation of electrical power equipment or related technical field.</li>\n<li>Above average understanding of construction standards and procedures for primary and secondary installations and has a demonstrated proficiency.</li>\n<li>Successfully demonstrated knowledge and skills required for Testing Tech 2 position.</li>\n<li>Demonstrated ability to perform absence of voltage testing over 1000V, protective ground installation and removal, basic troubleshooting and wiring diagram interpretation (normal operating conditions), manage field testing and interface with customer for basic tests and situations.</li>\n<li>Current First Aid and CPR cards.</li>\n<li>Valid driver’s license and DOT physical.
