The YMCA of Greater New York Association Office is seeking a Salesforce QA Engineer IT Project Manager who will define and execute a quality assurance strategy while managing QA delivery for Salesforce initiatives at the YMCA of Greater New York. This role ensures Salesforce solutions meet business, technical, and operational requirements through rigorous testing, strong governance, and cross-functional coordination across multiple phases of Salesforce implementation. Key Responsibilities: Quality Assurance Strategy Execution Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, including functional, regression, performance, and integration testing for Salesforce. Design, implement, and maintain automated test coverage to support continuous delivery and regression validation. Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects; verify fixes and enforce quality standards prior to release. Review business requirements, user stories, and solution designs to ensure testability and quality alignment. Project QA Management Define QA strategy, standards, and process improvements aligned with Salesforce delivery goals. Manage QA work plans, priorities, timelines, and dependencies across Salesforce projects and releases. Monitor test execution, analyze productivity, and oversee defect triage and resolution workflows. Agile DevOps Delivery Drive Agile and DevOps-aligned QA practices, embedding testing throughout the Salesforce SDLC. Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, standups, and release readiness activities. Stakeholder Cross-Functional Collaboration Liaise with business stakeholders to align quality expectations and delivery timelines. Act as the quality champion, ensuring Salesforce deliverables meet business needs and compliance standards. Reporting Communication Track and report QA metrics, including defect trends, test coverage, and release readiness. Provide Jira updates, delivery status reporting, and clear communication to leadership and project teams. Desired Skills Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. Three (3+) years of experience in QA engineering, QA lead, project management, or a hybrid QA/PM role supporting Salesforce or enterprise platforms. Demonstrated experience managing QA efforts across multiple concurrent projects or releases. Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, test automation frameworks, and defect tracking tools. Experience testing Salesforce configurations, automations, integrations, data models, and security controls. Solid understanding of project management fundamentals, including scheduling, prioritization, and resource coordination. Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps delivery environments. Proficiency with Jira or similar tools for test management, defect tracking, and reporting. Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations. Salesforce certifications (Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder) preferred. QA or Project Management certifications (CSM, PMP, or equivalent) a plus. This is an onsite, hybrid role based out of our Manhattan Office.
