    "description": "<p>June 16, 2025</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">NORTH WELLINGTON HEALTH CARE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">PALMERSTON &amp; DISTRICT HOSPITAL </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSTING #2025-123</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">REGISTERED NURSE</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">(TEMPORARY PART TIME)</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">POSITION OVERVIEW:</span></p>\n<p>One (1) temporary part time Registered Nurse opportunity is available at the Palmerston &amp; District Hospital site of North Wellington Health Care.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This position will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care as established by the standards of nursing practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario and according to policies and procedures as set out by NWHC.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">QUALIFICATIONS:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current Ontario RN Certificate of Competence</li>\n<li>BScN is an asset</li>\n<li>Membership in RNAO and CNA is an asset</li>\n<li>Current BCLS<br></li>\n<li>ACLS or commitment to obtain within 6 months</li>\n<li>Maternal Child Course or relevant clinical experience for exemption</li>\n<li>NRP,<span> </span><span>or commitment to obtain within 6 months</span></li>\n<li>Cardiac monitoring skills (ECG application &amp; interpretation, cardiac arrhythmia interpretation) or commitment to obtain within 3 months</li>\n<li>Competent to start IV or commitment to obtain within 3 months</li>\n<li>Competent in phlebotomy or commitment to obtain within 3 months</li>\n<li>Certified for defibrillation or competent in 6 months</li>\n<li>TNCC recommended</li>\n<li>ENPC/PALS recommended</li>\n<li>Must be prepared to work in all areas of the Hospital</li>\n<li>Demonstrated excellent communication skills both verbal and written</li>\n<li>Proven organizational and critical-thinking skills</li>\n<li>Ability to function as an effective interdisciplinary team member</li>\n<li>Ability to assume a leadership/charge role</li>\n<li>Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and willingness to actively participate in departmental educational activities</li>\n<li>Satisfactory performance and attendance required</li>\n<li>Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date</li>\n<li>Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check</li>\n<li>Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">HOURS OF WORK:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>As per Department Schedule</li>\n<li>Must be available to work all shifts</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SALARY:</span> $40.24 - $57.68 per hour</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">UNION:</span><span> </span>Ontario Nurses’ Association</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Interested applicants</span><span> please submit your cover letter and resume on BambooHR at the following link: <a rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" href=\"https://whca.bamboohr.com/jobs/\">https://whca.bamboohr.com/jobs/</a> </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">INTERNAL</span> applicants please apply with your work email address.</span></p>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EXTERNAL</span> applicants</span><span> are considered only after the internal posting process has been completed.
