This full-time, hourly position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems across all facility operations. In addition to electrical duties, the Electrician may be called upon to support general maintenance or millwright work when electrical tasks are not active. This is a hands-on role that directly supports plant uptime, safety, and productivity in a dynamic grain-handling environment.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems including control panels, motor starters, switches, lighting, sensors, and power distribution components.</li><li>Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in low and medium voltage systems, including 480V 3-phase equipment, using standard testing equipment.</li><li>Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on motors, drives, PLC systems, and process control equipment.</li><li>Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.</li><li>Execute new equipment installs and wiring, ensuring safe and code-compliant connections.</li><li>Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ammeters, megohmmeters, and IR thermography devices for testing and analysis.</li><li>Support and troubleshoot basic automation/PLC control systems; programming experience is a plus.</li><li>Maintain and document electrical repairs and updates within the Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including parts used and time spent.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of manuals, blueprints, replacement parts, and maintenance activities.</li><li>Conduct safety checks and regular inspections of electrical equipment, tools, and protective systems.</li><li>May assist with mechanical and millwright duties, including replacing motors, rigging equipment, or supporting conveyor system repairs.</li><li>Participate in safety meetings, audits, and training, and demonstrate commitment to ADM’s “Zero-Injury” culture.</li><li>Support housekeeping and general maintenance as needed to ensure a safe, clean, and operational workspace.</li><li>Respond to emergency call-outs to address critical equipment failures as required.</li></ul><strong>Tools and Equipment You May Use:</strong><ul><li>Multimeters, megohmmeters, IR cameras</li><li>Conduit benders, knockout sets, cable pullers</li><li>Panel wiring tools, torque wrenches</li><li>CMMS software for documentation and work orders</li><li>Forklifts and manlifts (with certification)</li></ul><strong>Qualifications &amp; Skills:<br>Required:</strong><ul><li>Licensed required Industrial or Commercial Electrician&nbsp;(or in process to acquire license required)</li><li>Preferred 3–5 years of experience in industrial or commercial electrical work</li><li>Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and lock-out/tag-out procedures</li><li>Experience with 480V 3-phase wiring, motor control, and diagnostics</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot, install, and repair a wide range of plant electrical systems</li><li>Willingness to assist with general maintenance, mechanical work, or millwright tasks when needed</li><li>Comfortable working in grain-handling environments with dust, grease, and varying temperatures</li><li>Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces</li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Willingness to work overtime and respond to emergency call-ins</li></ul><strong>Preferred:</strong><ul><li>Experience with automation systems, PLC troubleshooting or programming</li><li>Background in grain elevator or agricultural processing environments</li><li>Experience using CMMS or other work order tracking systems</li><li>Familiarity with rigging and mobile equipment (forklift, scissor lift, manlift)</li></ul><strong>Why ADM?</strong><ul><li>Highly competitive hourly pay with broad potential based on experience</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off)</li><li>Career growth within a global, mission-driven agricultural company</li><li>A strong culture of safety, technical excellence, and operational support</li><li>A chance to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment supporting global food systems</li></ul>ADM requires the successful completion of&nbsp;a&nbsp;background check.&nbsp;<br><br>REF:106020BR",
