Procurement Manager

Location: Duluth, GA Type: Full-Time Onsite About the Role Let’s keep it simple. Late material, bad pricing, missed deliveries — that’s what kills electrical jobs. We’re hiring a Procurement Manager who knows how to stay ahead of all of it. This role is about protecting schedule, protecting margin, and keeping crews working. What You’ll Do · Own the procurement process for all electrical materials and equipment across multiple projects · Assist Project Managers to lock in pricing, lead times, and vendor commitments early · Work directly with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams · Manage long-lead items (switchgear, generators, transformers, etc.) · Build and manage vendor relationships · Track POs, deliveries, and shortages — and fix issues fast · Solve problems when materials go sideways (because they will) · Identify opportunities to save cost without impacting schedule or quality What You Bring · 5+ years in electrical construction, procurement, or supply chain · Experience with commercial or mission critical projects (data center experience is a plus) · Strong knowledge of electrical materials, equipment, and vendors · Experience purchasing or managing: o Switchgear o Generators o Lighting packages o Conduit, wire, and gear packages · Strong communication with: o Project teams o Vendors o Field personnel What Sets You Apart · Experience managing long-lead procurement under tight schedules · Ability to anticipate problems before they happen · Strong problem-solving mindset — you don’t pass issues, you fix them · Ability to push back when something doesn’t make sense · Focus on both delivery AND cost/margin Why Join Us · Direct impact on project success and company performance · Work closely with operations and leadership · Real responsibility — not just pushing paperwork · Competitive compensation + performance-based incentives Apply If · You’ve been frustrated by late material impacting the field · You think ahead instead of reacting · You like being the person who keeps jobs moving
