Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>What are we looking for?</strong></p>\n<p>The <strong>National Client Manager’s</strong> primary responsibility will be the development, management, and growth of key client relationships within the Building &amp; Construction Industry. In this role, the National Client Manager is expected to develop and implement appropriate sales strategies to to expand service offerings and increase overall market share with existing and new National Clients. &nbsp;This position will travel approximately 25% of the time.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>The <strong>National Client Manager</strong>&nbsp;will serve as the primary relationship manager focused on providing PSI's full suite of services to, existing and new clients with regional and national perspectives and footprints. The position reports to the Director, National Client Group. &nbsp;</p>\n<p>In addition to competitive compensation packages, when working with Intertek you can expect benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with company match, generous vacation / sick time (PTO), tuition reimbursement and more.</p>\n<p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Serve as the primary relationship manager for clients in the retail, hospitality, and healthcare markets with regional or national perspectives</li>\n <li>Maintain existing and develop new relationships with key client stakeholders&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Develop new project opportunities through consistent and close communication with key stakeholders&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Maintain a collaborative relationship with Intertek Operations Manager and Principal Consultants</li>\n <li>Clearly communicate client expectations, requirements, and project information to local operational teams in support of client needs</li>\n <li>Oversee project management and invoicing to ensure accurate invoicing and compliance with client requirements</li>\n <li>Identify and evaluate potential new clients and take a leadership role in selling Intertek services to vetted potential clients</li>\n <li>Assist with development of client-specific service and growth action plans</li>\n <li>Develop client specific strategies focused on expansion of service offerings and increasing market share</li>\n <li>Evaluate and respond to client feed-back and help ensure client satisfaction</li>\n <li>Regularly review market and market sector conditions to adjust sales and marketing focus as needed</li>\n <li>Advise and assist with in the development of quality marketing materials</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>What it takes to be successful in this role:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelors’ degree, required&nbsp;</li>\n <li>5+ years of consulting, engineering, project management, construction management, or program management in the A/E/C industry</li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to deliver high quality proposals to prospects and clients both virtually and in person.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to collaborate effectively with sales and operations leadership</li>\n <li>Proficient in project management, client communication and change management&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Model Intertek’s 10X Energies at all times within the work place, practicing business the right way</li>\n <li>Be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work</li>\n <li>Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with shifting priorities and demanding deadlines</li>\n <li>Must be detailed-oriented and able to effectively prioritize and organize workload, with efficient time management&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Ability to communicate and interact effectively in verbal written and presentation formats</li>\n <li>Ability to travel to support face-to-face meetings in support of clients and Intertek offices</li>\n <li>Must possess the fundamental technical and administrative skills required to perform the job duties</li>\n <li>Must be customer focused and quality driven</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Preferred Degree: Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Sciences, or similar field&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><strong>Intertek: Total Quality.
