    "description": "<p>Concrete Carpenter/Rodbuster/Finisher</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This position will be primarily based out of our Semora, NC location with some travel to our Vass, NC, and Chesterfield, VA locations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Job Requirements:</p>\n<p>For this role we are looking for an English/Spanish speaking Concrete Journeyman with at least 5 years experience</p>\n<p>Must be able to follow established finish grade during the pouring of slabs<br>The ability to read a tape measure accurately<br>The ability to tie rebar per plans<br>Be able to install embeds and anchor bolts in accordance with plans<br>Set string line for setting of concrete forms<br>Measure, cut, assemble forms, construct and erect/build in place prefabricated wooden/steel forms<br>Set up and secure forms at correct location, leveling ground and ensuring forms are stable and aligned<br>Perform concrete placement and finish to include placing, finishing, curing, and cutting of concrete slabs<br>Proficient in the use of the following tools: straight edges to establish grade, bull floats, float blades, combo blades, hand tools, sledgehammer, power drills, saws, lasers, vibrators, walk behind trowels or riders, and had the knowledge when to use these tools at the proper time during place and finish.<br>Patching of voids and repair of concrete work; patch and point experience preferred<br>Dismantle, clean, store or dispose of forms after use</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Physical Requirements:</p>\n<p>Must have the ability to climb, stand, sit, walk, reach around, bend, crawl, squat and kneel for prolong periods of time<br>The ability to lift/push/pull up to and not limited to 100 lbs</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Working Conditions:</p>\n<p>Work occurs on-site and will be mainly outdoors. Must be comfortable working in a changing environment that may expose you to hot or cold weather, loud noises, dust, and rain<br>Work may occur at heights and require the use of a ladder/manlift/scaffold/ or other mechanical platforms to access the working area<br>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times (safety vest, hard hat, eye protection, gloves, sleeves as needed, face shields, and appropriate work footwear are required</p>\n<p>Benefits:  401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance,  Vision insurance</p>\n<p>Schedule: 10+ hour shift, Overtime, Weekends as needed</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Sequoia Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
