Description
JOB TITLE: Merchandiser
EMPLOYER: Nackard Pepsi, Show Low AZ
DEPARTMENT: Sales
REPORTS TO: Branch Manager
EFFECTIVE DATE: Upon Hire
POSITION: Seasonal, Full-Time or Part-Time, Hourly, starting at $18/hr (opportunity for additional merchandiser incentive)
SCHEDULE: Available to work any day of the week, schedule to change weekly (30 min lunch) Located in the Show Low area Flexible to schedule changes Seasonal for Summer months only; 31-40hrs/wk
SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing high quality service to our accounts by ensuring all products are rotated and adequately stocked, while also maintaining a high level of professionalism. The qualified individual will work in Show Low, AZ and the surrounding areas. This is a SEASONAL position, only for the Summer . 31-40hrs/wk. A current Driver’s License and working car are necessary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Merchandise store shelving, coolers, and displays with Pepsi products in accounts assigned by supervisor. Clean shelving, rotate products and price all packages. Lift and/or carry at least 35 pounds frequently for 8-10 hours a day. Push and/or pull 55-250 pounds frequently for 8-10 hours a day. Ability to safely perform bending, twisting, kneeling, and squatting regularly. Ability to safely perform frequent reaching over shoulder, at waist level, and from the floor. Must also be able to frequently lift overhead. Drive personal vehicle to each account for service with biweekly mileage reimbursement. Retain a valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance, valid registration, and an acceptable 39-month MVR. Utilize point-of-purchase in every account Keep back room stock in neat and orderly condition. Communicate sales results to store and Pepsi management. Build customer relationships at store level. Sign in and out with store manager. Keep shelves clean and product rotated. Various other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years or older High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred, but not required. Must possess a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and personal liability insurance. Computer skills: Accounting Software (QuickBooks); Database Software (ADP); Electronic Mail Software (Microsoft Outlook)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Continually required to stand, walk , and utilize hand and finger dexterity. Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl. Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to extreme heat or cold (non-weather). While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud. The employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
