We offer <u>competitive pay and benefits, and well-being programs</u> to support you and your family. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>To Learn More Visit: http://www.geosyntec.com/careers/.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Field work, site investigation and characterization, including sediment, soil, vapor, surface water, air monitoring, and groundwater sampling, drilling and contractor oversight;</li>\n <li>Providing contamination assessment services, such as designing and implementing sampling plans, bench scale testing, and pilot test programs;</li>\n <li>Data analysis/visualization of site investigation data including the preparation of tables, maps, and figures using both industry-standard and cutting-edge applications; </li>\n <li>Monitoring and oversight of site remediation and environmental construction projects;</li>\n <li>Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation; </li>\n <li>Well installation, aquifer testing, and groundwater monitoring;</li>\n <li>Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting;</li>\n <li>Conducting remedy evaluation, cost estimating, and supporting remedial implementation;</li>\n <li>Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; and. </li>\n <li>Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Education and Licensure</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in geology, hydrogeology or geochemistry. (required)</li>\n <li>Advanced degree in the same. (preferred)</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Skills, Experience and Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior research experience in contaminated media or remediation technology. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Internship(s), co-op position, or prior work experience relevant to the position. (preferred)</li>\n <li>Demonstrated strong interest in contaminant remediation and quantitative hydrogeology. (required)</li>\n <li>Experience with visualization tools (AutoCAD ArcView) and/or groundwater flow and geochemical modeling (Modflow, MT3D, geochemical equilibrium models). (preferred)</li>\n <li>Strong oral and technical writing skills. (required)</li>\n <li>Regular field work and overnight travel. (required)</li>\n <li>Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)</li>\n <li>Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees.
