Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>Perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Company&rsquo;s policies and applicable laws for all direct reports. &nbsp;Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work, coaching, appraising performance, training, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.</li><li>Participate in and direct troubleshooting activities in the event of equipment failure including participation in problem solving and leading failure analysis.</li><li>Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs manufacturing equipment and performs routine preventive maintenance as needed.</li><li>Actively participate in the development and execution of CQC Maintenance Excellence.</li><li>Maintain appropriate shift crew levels to meet staffing requirements.</li><li>Coordinate and approve all daily overtime and support payroll activities.</li><li>Implement training processes for the technical development of mechanics including job and equipment specific certification as well as cross training.</li><li>Ensure that mechanics have the tools, information and direction to get the manufacturing lines started on time while achieving optimal performance throughout the production shifts.</li><li>Conduct orientation and evaluation of new mechanics.</li><li>Promote a safe work environment through accident prevention, reporting and investigation.</li><li>Develop and promote team concept.</li><li>Enforce GMP&rsquo;s and Food Safety Standards.</li><li>Complete paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.</li><li>Maintain communication with manager, peers, and support areas across multiple shifts to ensure equipment specific problems and needs are addressed in a timely and efficient manner.</li><li>Lead team meetings and safety meetings.</li><li>Coordinate activities and follow up across multiple shifts.</li><li>Active involvement in Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement.</li><li>Promote service-oriented group philosophy.</li><li>Manage and track monthly spend to ensure compliance to budget.</li><li>Perform failure analysis.</li><li>Expand and enhance preventative maintenance and information systems.</li><li>Concentrate on critical start up areas, on time starts and effective changeovers.</li><li>Ensure proper shift hand-offs between crews are executed and plans are in place for follow-ups</li><li>Involvement with new capital projects.</li><li>Maintain regular attendance at work.</li></ul><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><u>QUALIFICATIONS</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p><p><strong>EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 2 years of experience in Maintenance or other technical field.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.</li><li>4-year degree in Engineering or related field preferred.</li><li>Experience and education in electrical and controls preferred.</li><li>Experience with maintenance management systems such as Preventative Maintenance and Inventory Control</li><li>Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.</li><li>Must have acceptable driving record and valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li><li>Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) packages and AutoCAD preferred.</li><li>Experience with TPM, Autonomous Maintenance and Preventative Maintenance preferred.</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS AND ABILITIES:&nbsp;</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>Technical aptitude</li><li>Good oral and written communication skills are required</li><li>Adaptability and flexibility are essential&nbsp;</li><li>Customer focused</li><li>Good team building and leadership skills are recommended</li><li>Good decision making ability</li><li>Project management skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>CQC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
