Our products protect human life and personal property, improve the quality of life, generate economic prosperity, and connect society.</p>\n<p>We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our Ft Pierce, FL team. The Plant Operator reports directly to the Plant Supervisor and operates a stationary or portable batching plant in mixing cement materials and aggregates to produce concrete. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Job Functions:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Adjusts controls for required mixture of the materials. </li>\n <li>Operates controls that admit materials separately from storage hoppers or mixing bins. </li>\n <li>Observes indicator that show when proper amount of materials have been made. </li>\n <li>Discharges materials from bin into truck or other carrier or mixer. Performs other related duties. Assists in maintenance and report of plant equipment. May perform other related duties. </li>\n <li>Answers telephone, radio, and takes and inputs orders. </li>\n <li>The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Required Skills & Abilities</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must possess the consistent ability to work overtime (nights & weekends). </li>\n <li>Must be able to work in an environment where you may be exposed to extremes of hot or cold weather. </li>\n <li>Job requires the following: climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, stretching, pushing, pulling, vibration, twisting, kneeling, standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and working at heights of 50-80 feet. </li>\n <li>Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. </li>\n <li>Must possess a current Class B Commercial Driver License in good standing.</li>\n <li>Must be willing and able to driver to different plants sites based upon business needs. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Required Skills / Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred. </li>\n <li>Minimum one-year batching experience in a ready-mix concrete environment. </li>\n <li>Must have a thorough knowledge of the automated batch plant operation.  Experience with Command Alkon system experience preferred.</li>\n <li>Must have (or must be able to obtain as soon as possible) ACI Level I Field Testing Technician and Florida DOT Batch Certification.</li>\n <li>Must have basic math skills. </li>\n <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent organizational and time management skills.</li>\n <li>Proficient working knowledge of Computer and Microsoft Office products.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Titan Florida is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) / Affirmative Action employer and welcomes all qualified applicants.
