As a Functional Family Therapist, you’ll bring powerful, evidence-based care directly into the homes of families, helping them build stronger connections and create lasting change. You’ll lead engaging, one-hour weekly sessions using the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model, working with adolescents ages 10–18 and their families to navigate challenges, improve communication, and unlock their strengths. With a manageable caseload of 10–15 families, you’ll guide each through a personalized journey that can span 8 to 26 weeks - long enough to make a real, lasting impact. This role offers flexibility in scheduling so you can meet families when it works best for them, creating authentic, meaningful connections in real-life settings. Responsibilities Performs comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral assessments, treatment plans and appropriate interventions and therapy for behavioral health illnesses and concerns. Conducts assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the social and emotional factors related to the patients illness, need forcare, response and adjustment to illness and care and completes appropriatepatient centered plan of care and interventions according to the scope of practice. Provides information and referral services to appropriate individuals and agencies as needs identified. Conducts immediate intervention including supportive counseling to patient/family/significant other in dealing with impact of an emergency situation. Completes all documentation in the patient record accurately and timely. Provide educational in services to the community as requested. Consistently utilizes a holistic approach considering psych/social, physical, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria approach to the age of the patient. Participates in the development of the plan of care and attends department team meetings. Maintains current licensure with specific board. Completes all continuing education and follows Ethics Code specific to the discipline. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or related fields is required Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field from an accredited school is preferred Experience: Minimum of two years in a Behavorial Health setting Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver's license is required LMSWIA, LMSIL, LISWIA, MHCIA, MHCIL, LMFTIA, or LMFTIL is preferred
