Qualified candidates should&nbsp;be planning and preparing for a job in news.&nbsp;Credit Verification forms will be provided.\n</div>\n<p><strong><u>What to Expect:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>No day is the same. If you excel in an active, fast-moving environment and have the drive to learn the many different areas of News production, this position is perfect for you</li>\n <li>You will work with reporters, anchors, producers, editors, and photographers, in-house and out in the field</li>\n <li>You will receive training on various topics including how to produce a news segment from the control room, how to research and pitch a great story, how to operate camera equipment, what shots matter, and more</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements &amp; Qualifications:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be attending an accredited college or university and eligible to receive college credit to participate in this internship; Credit Verification forms will be provided.&nbsp;</li>\n <li>Willing to work approximately 15 hours a week for 10 weeks;**There may be a variety in hours due to our news programming schedules**</li>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n <li>Must have reliable transportation and be able to work from our Mishawaka, IN location</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><u>What You'll Gain:</u></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hands-on experience in news reporting and journalism</li>\n <li>Exposure to the inner workings of a newsroom</li>\n <li>Networking opportunities with seasoned professionals in the industry</li>\n <li>Portfolio building with published work</li>\n <li>Mentoring and guidance from experienced journalists</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Join us and get the most out of your internship experience!</strong></p>\n<p>Sinclair is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and a drug free workplace.
