This hands-on role is well suited for an experienced and dependable maintenance professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys contributing to a community of more than 200 residents. As a Maintenance Technician, you will support day-to-day maintenance operations and help ensure shared spaces remain modern, well-maintained, and welcoming for residents.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>In addition to the duties typically expected of a maintenance professional, responsibilities will include;</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responding to routine and urgent maintenance requests from residents in a timely and professional manner.</li>\n<li>Performing general maintenance, repairs, and adjustments to building systems, suites, and common areas.</li>\n<li>Support the ongoing upkeep and safe operation of property amenities, fixtures, and equipment.</li>\n<li>Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and repairs.</li>\n<li>Assist with seasonal property operations, including landscaping and snow removal.</li>\n<li>Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe.</li>\n<li>Work collaboratively with site staff, management, and external vendors as required.</li>\n<li>Adhere to all workplace health &amp; safety policies and report safety hazards to management.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2+ years of experience in property maintenance, building operations, or facilities support role.</li>\n<li>Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license, and access to your own vehicle.</li>\n<li>General understanding of residential building systems (e.g., kitchen &amp; bathroom fixtures, doors, appliances, lighting).</li>\n<li>Physically capable of performing routine manual tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and extended periods of walking.</li>\n<li>Functional English verbal communication skills.</li>\n<li>Successful completion of a criminal record check.</li>\n<li>Ability to provide professional references and have a proven record of reliable work attendance.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Our Team + What You Can Expect</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>All work will be completed at 2220-2222 Weston Road, North York, Ontario, M9N 1YZ.</li>\n<li>Maintenance staff are required to supply their own basic tools necessary to perform maintenance work. Specialty tools will be provided by the employer.</li>\n<li>This role requires continuous on-call availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to address emergency situations and urgent resident needs.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The expected compensation range for this position is between $22 - $29 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, internal equity, and other job-related requirements.
