Description Location: Toronto, Hybrid In this position, you’ll be based in the Toronto (East Beaver Creek) office for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. As a Perl Developer at Computershare, you’ll help build, maintain, and support the systems that keep our business running day in and day out. You’ll work closely with developers, QA, project teams, and technical leads to deliver reliable solutions, keep legacy systems healthy, and ensure our clients experience seamless service. It’s a hands‑on role where your problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate will make a real impact. Some of your key responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining software and databases using Perl and other relevant technologies Reviewing code, writing unit tests, and delivering work within agreed timelines Supporting system testing and UAT, with QA approving your unit tests Investigating technical issues alongside senior team members when needed Preparing documentation for new or updated business and operational processes Tracking your work in our PMO tools and keeping stakeholders updated Participating in a rotating on‑call support schedule, including occasional support for other CTS locations What will you bring to the role?
