This role will serve as a key business partner across operations and finance, supporting inventory accounting activities while helping drive process improvements and automation initiatives.</p>\n<p>The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in inventory cost accounting, an eagerness to learn, and a continuous improvement mindset. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a company currently undergoing a Workday ERP implementation, where the individual will play an active role in helping build and optimize inventory processes within a new system environment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support monthly close activities related to inventory accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis</li>\n <li>Maintain and analyze inventory costing, reserves, variances, and inventory-related financial reporting</li>\n <li>Partner cross-functionally with operations, finance, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate inventory reporting and process alignment</li>\n <li>Assist with inventory controls, cycle counts, and audit support</li>\n <li>Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies across inventory accounting workflows</li>\n <li>Participate in the implementation and optimization of Workday inventory and accounting processes</li>\n <li>Help document and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls related to inventory</li>\n <li>Support ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field</li>\n <li>3-5 years of experience in public accounting and/or internal inventory accounting</li>\n <li>Foundational understanding of inventory cost accounting principles and inventory controls</li>\n <li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail</li>\n <li>Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment</li>\n <li>Process improvement and automation-oriented mindset with a desire to challenge and improve existing processes</li>\n <li>Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to partner effectively across teams</li>\n <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required</li>\n <li>Oracle and Workday experience is a plus</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Why Join Us</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Opportunity to play a meaningful role in a major ERP transformation and process build-out</li>\n <li>Exposure to cross-functional business partnering and operational finance</li>\n <li>Collaborative and growth-oriented environment with opportunities for professional development</li>\n <li>Chance to make a direct impact by improving processes and driving efficiencies</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000</p>\n<h2>DDN</h2>\n<p>DDN has a very strong orientation towards these 4 characteristics and any successful employee will demonstrate these capabilities: </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Self-Starter - </strong>Takes independent action to identify and solve problems.
