          "text": "<p><strong>How will you make a difference? </strong></p><p>As a member of the Components Division, you will be responsible for welding fabricated parts, components, or units at floor stations. You will test and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will also use hand and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. You will be required to identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary.           "text": "<p><strong>What about the physical demands of the job?</strong></p><ul><li>Employee is required to wear appropriate PPE such as steel toe boots and safety glasses</li><li>Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend, work underneath equipment, reach above shoulders, and climb</li><li>Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.</li><li>Employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures and occasional exposure to manufacturing fumes or by-products</li></ul><p>You may also be asked to perform other duties outside of your function or trade, for which adequate training will be provided if necessary.</p><p>The starting hourly rate of this position is <strong>$26.00</strong>&#xa0;</p><p>Wabtec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the U.S. for this opening. The hourly rate for this role is currently $26-$32.
